Established in 1918, SRJC is one of the oldest community colleges in California. Analy Hall was constructed in 1939 and houses the Department of Art.

The Luther Burbank Auditorium was built in 1939 and renovated in 2020. The Theatre Arts Department is located here.

Emeritus Hall was built in 1978. Behavioral Sciences, English, Ethnic Studies, Humanities and Religion, Philosophy, Social Sciences, World Languages and the Newman Auditorium can be found here.

The Frank P. Doyle Library was completed in 2006. It is a four-story structure that includes multiple study spaces, Media Services, the Tutorial Center, and the Robert F. Agrella Art Gallery.

The brick and iron Legion Gate was built in 1934 and originally served as the entrance to the football field.
